This is the time for the Primeurs 2008. The press, the buyers, and associated wine professionals come out in force to taste. The idea behind buying en primeur is to have a better price now than in the future and also to be certain about an allocation of a certain wine.
While the 2008 vintage is yet to be finished, you can get an indication of what it will become. Harvested in Oct. of 2008, it is presently aging in new barrels for 18 months before being bottled during the summer of 2010.
Last week Robert Parker was in town tasting the 2008 Grand Crus.
He has a very positive view of the 2008 vintage.
This week our Grand Cru is being presented in the Salle des Dominicains in center of Saint-Emilion, as part of a grand tasting organized by the “Union des Syndicats de Saint-Emilion, Pomerol et Fronsac”.
Our Bordeaux Supérieur was selected to take part in an event by Planéte Bordeaux.
It would be an understatement to express how popular our Bordeaux Supérieur was.
