Last week we had extreme cold weather and our second snow since Christmas.
We have not seen temperature so bitter for five years.
Even the flamingos that live along the coast of France's midi-region had snow, which had not been experienced since 1987.
On Tuesday the 13th of January, Robert Parker was in our town to taste samples of the 2006 vintage. I had the joy of meeting him as he ended his work day. He is very approachable and put me at ease immediately. He was down to earth, very gracious and encouraging. He will return during the third week in March to taste the 2008 wines. His results of the tastings won’t be released until perhaps June. We look forward to reading his notes.
May the weather warm up. May our wines continue to be presented to such knowledgeable wine critics.
