The harvest is over. All the 2010 grapes are in.
The final day for us was Tuesday October the 26th. We have 20 hectares which is equal to 50 acres of vines. 
This is what we have worked for all year.
You can look out over all the rows and know that each vine will produce one bottle.
The grapes are in perfect condition and at optimal ripeness. 
After having the grapes removed, the vines look lighter.
The crew heads out with their clippers and baskets.
They all but disappear into the vines. 
Only the carriers are visible from the distance.
The tractor brings back the loads of grapes and they go through the de-stemmer.
I think even the stems have their own beauty. 
All of the grapes are sorted by the team. 
We have long days, with no days off, but smiles abound. 
Finally the grapes are put into the vats were the vinification will begin.
The 2010 vintage is going to be exceptional.
