All the grapes are in!

Looking back over the harvest gives us a sense of completion. The roses that greet us as we enter the vines continue to bring forth a few flowers but the grapes are absent now. A close-up of a red rose blooming on a bush at the end of a vineyard row, with grapevines in the background.

Jasmine has finished cutting the grapes and is glad to give his back a break.A vineyard worker crouched down among the vines, appearing to finish the final grape harvesting work of the season.

Theirry has poured his last bucket of grapes and is enjoying his first day off.A vineyard worker in a blue shirt pouring grapes from a red bucket into a sorting container, marking the end of harvest activities.

Daniele is done sorting. A woman with curly hair smiling while working at a grape sorting station surrounded by winemaking equipment in a cellar.

The temperature controlled stainless steel vats are full. A row of large, temperature-controlled stainless steel fermentation tanks in a winery cellar, representing modern winemaking equipment. We continue to make the wine, which I will share with you on the next blog.

Enjoying the autumn.
